Artabro’s ship conversion project has been completed. This is West Sea’s most recent conversion project, and it started on 2nd June, when it arrived at the shipyard. The conversion of the 90.7-metre long and 18.8-metre wide vessel consisted in turning it from a Floating Production Storage and Offloading Ship to an Offshore Supply Vessel.
The main tasks included the removal of all deck equipment and the installation of new equipment. This new equipment includes a precision positioning system, the A-Frame and a platform for Remote Operated Vehicles. Other works were also carried out, such as the hull treatment and painting, and the improvement of the propellers, the bow thruster and the retractable thruster.
