Let’s grow together
A multidisciplinary, specialised, rigorous, customer-focused and future-oriented team.
To work at West Sea is to breathe an 80-year shipbuilding history, to want to innovate and do better every day.
It is to learn and work side by side with someone who has been building and repairing vessels for more than 40 years. And to find innovative solutions with people who have just discovered their passion for the naval industry.
It is to dedicate one’s career to the naval industry and continue the century-old history of a country that is sea.
With people from different areas of expertise, we have a unique team and create exceptional projects.
“Every day we have a different challenge, we meet a new person, which forces us to be creative. We do not have a routine job. We must be bold in carrying out the projects we undertake.”
Hugo, HVAC and Insulation Technician
“For me, it is exciting to do what I like. The piping section connects all systems, and I am proud to be part of this area. It is gratifying to see the first piece of a vessel and then that huge puzzle floating out to sea.”
Agostinho, Testing and Auxiliary Equipment Assembly Technician
“The biggest lesson I learned from working at West Sea is that we cannot do anything alone. With good teamwork, we can do incredible things. Just take a look at a vessel. A welder does not make a vessel, a project technician does not make a vessel, and together we can make one.”
Cláudia, Responsible for Safety and Environment
“It is fascinating to see that a pile of steel plates become a ship at the end of our work.”
Rafael, Mechanical Metalworker
“Everything happens very fast at West Sea. The challenge is immense, and we work hard for our projects to be successful.”
Carlos, Project Technician
